Hello. My name’s Ian Patrick Hines. I’m the CEO at Hines Digital.
I got my start in politics in 2003, when at 17-years old I helped run Howard Dean’s “Generation Dean” digital effort. That campaign changed politics forever, and started my obsession with effective digital organizing.
In the thirteen years since I have changed a lot, and so has digital’s role in politics. There’s no doubt about it, now: digital matters. In fact, it’s often the difference maker in elections.
These days, it seems like everyone’s a “digital expert” with a list to rent or an app to sell. What’s more, as digital strategies become more integral to the success of traditional campaign teams, it’s increasingly important to have a digital team that can see the whole field.
Gimmicks and armchair punditry abound, but wisdom and experience are in short supply — and conservative campaigns & causes deserve better.
That’s why I founded Hines Digital: to build a permanent home for the talent and expertise that will power the next generation of conservative digital strategy.
The world of advocacy — for campaigns, causes, and even brands — is changing so quickly that most organizations can’t keep up. But we don’t have to keep up because we never slow down.
